Meet Our Optometrists
Northwest Valley Eye Care provides innovative eye care services to patients from in and around Sun City. We offer comprehensive eye health assessments, ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, contact lens evaluation and fitting, and prescriptions.
We welcome new patients and accept most major forms of insurance.
Dr. Toland graduated in 1996 from Pacific University in the wonderful state of Oregon. Upon completing his education he returned to his native state of Arizona where he gained valuable experience working alongside more established doctors in the Phoenix Metro area. During that time, he gained much experience working with people of all ages with a great deal of emphasis working with children and their unique visual needs. He, personally having done three years of visual therapy, can attest to the need for timely visual exams for the younger people in our lives. In 2003 he joined longtime established Dr. Stanley Martin in the Sun City area. Practice emphasis includes General Eyecare along with much disease management such as Macular Degeneration, Ocular Surface disease and Glaucoma. Cataract Co-management and Specialty Contact Lenses are of special interest. Preventive Eyecare has always been a strong motive for Dr. Toland as well. Dr. Toland is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Arizona Optometric Association.
